The Writers Forum, a nonprofit organization based in Redding, California, was founded in 1983. The Writers Forum is dedicated to promoting writing as an art and as a profession and to supporting and inspiring local writers. Meetings and events are held in Redding, Shasta County, Northern California. The Writers Forum provides a monthly newsletter and an annual membership directory to its members. The group also sponsors an annual Northern California Authors Fair in the Mt. Shasta Mall in Redding, California.
