The Writers Forum, a nonprofit organization founded in 1983, is dedicated to promoting writing as an art and as a profession and to supporting and inspiring local writers. Meetings and events are held in Redding, Shasta County, Northern California. Not only Redding writers and poets, but writers and poets from all over far northern California are welcome to visit our writing group and become a member.

Upcoming Meetings
  The public is always welcome and there is no charge to attend."So, come on in..."
Our meetings feature an entertaining, interesting and diverse mix of speakers and topics, workshops, and open mike readings of original material. They provide encouragement, inspiration, understanding and confidence as well as tips on writing, publishing and promoting an author's work. 		 
 
WF meetings are from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and are held in the Community Room at The New Redding Library (to the left inside the front door). The library is locacted near the Redding City Hall and South City Park at 1100 Parkview Ave.
